Program Manager
Kara Shuell is the Program Manager for ICW. She joined ICW after a career in education which included teaching and administration. Kara loves planning field trips and activities for ICW residents in order to see them experience new things, learn about interesting topics, have fun and most importantly, enjoy the company of others. In her spare time, Kara enjoys reading, travel, completing puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Community Builders
Sybil Berry is a Community Builder with ICW. Sybil was born in Wisconsin and has spent most of her life in Ann Arbor. She is a mother to two children and loves spending time with them. Sybil is a community organizer who is passionate about the environment and helping people to enjoy each other and nature. Sybil loves music, singing and dancing. Sybil is welcoming, patient, caring and nurturing. Her favorite thing about ICW is creating space where the community can come together to enjoy each other’s company.
Cole McFadden is a Community Builder with ICW. Cole grew up in Ann Arbor and went to Michigan State, later finding a passion in plants and growth. Having worked with individuals with special needs for the last decade, he finds connecting and including people with those around them is crucial to living a fulfilling life. Allowing others the comfort to truly be themselves while sharing their interests and excitement means a lot. Cole also has interests in photography, soccer and music, which have all been his pleasure to share with the community.
Hope Morrow is a Community Builder with ICW. She is a licensed occupational therapist who is passionate about promoting positive mental and physical well-being. Hope has former experience as a community garden leader and as a painting instructor. She also has training in yoga therapy and enjoys yoga as part of her daily routine. Other favorite activities of Hope’s include leisurely bicycle rides, hiking, and cooking. She also has a delightfully fluffy cat named Ripley who is very friendly. Hope feels that the best thing about ICW is that it creates an environment of opportunity, joy, and connectedness for all.
Mary Wagner is a Community Builder with ICW. Mary has spent most of her life in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area, and graduated from Eastern Michigan University. She is a recreation therapist with a passion for aquatics. She loves running, swimming, spending time in nature and music. Mary also enjoys hiking and cross country skiing. Finding a place in the community with others, sharing experiences, and discovering what brings people joy are Mary’s favorite things about ICW.
